Hi Just wondering if any1 here w/c'ed his/her fragbox2? I got mine yesterday and spend a night trying to work out a good position to mount the radiator without cutting the case with no luck :( any ideas where to mount a rad fb2 owners? :confused: :D
 
FullMetal is working on WCing his Fb as we speak, i dont know how the hell hes gonan do it though. Ive thought about it, and it seems hard, considering theres only one fan placement, and thats not even bolted onto the panel, its on the HD tray, and its too small of a space for anything.

Time will tell i guess.
 
im sure i've read here in a post someone had his fb2 w/c'ed but i cant remember which post...
im thinking about doing this in 2 ways:
1. internal solution: move the HD tray to rights side ( asuming the the case is in front of u) and remove the 80mm fan, and make up a holder which cant hold a 120mm rad at the place of the 80mm fan but above the motherboard ( about 1/3 of the rad should be above the motherboard) , cut the case ( which i dont really want to do) and let the 120mm fan suck air from the rad(inside the case) and push the air out of the box

2. external solution:
mount the 120mm rad at the back of the PS ( outside) use a holder which can make a clearance of 3-5cm for the power cable. also a pull air setup.

which one do u rekon could work or works better?
 
Well the internal options sounds WAY too complicated, and sounds as if youre hacking up the whole case to no end, so ide 86 that one.

The external solution is your best bet, the Corsair one, the aquarius 3, the koolance, etc...

Making a holder for a rad on the backside of the case is iffy, because of the way the case comes off...it slides and angles in order to come off, and there is no fan mounts in the back, only random airflow holes, maybe a small BI Micro II 80mm rad would fit with a custom holder.
