Heh, get to folding as we want to see some numbers :)

That picture makes me a bit nauseous though seeing those water lines running, and seeing it running right over the ram modules. I am very risk adverse and water cooling scares the hell out of me. 60 degrees sounds awesome for the voltage and clocks you are running!

as long as they dont touch the ram its perfectly fine.. your not going to melt the tubing thats for sure..

Sweet! You should run Zone of the Enders 2: The Second Runner via PCSX2 (PS2 emu), record some gameplay, and take some massively huge antialiased screenies. :D I'm more interested in the framerate though.
 
I wonder how your rig would rank if you placed it on a timeline of most powerful supercomputers. With some quick googling, I would guess you're getting around 140 GFLOPS if you were 100% on all cores, and according to wikipedia, that beats anything before '93. Of course this conclusion could be horribly off, but it's the best I'm gonna do in 10 minutes.

Kinda cool imo considering the age of computers was well on its way by the 90s, and by 2010, we have computers more powerful than anything that existed, sitting next to us at home. Well at least you do. :p

I guess if you throw in that a 4870x2 is supposedly capable of 2.4 TFLOPS, it makes that seem less significant, but GPUs are obviously a different story.

Your rig reminds me of a quad-SLI test rig which struck me as very strange. The strange thing about it was that the CPU was watercooled, but on air that only gets to 70C at most anyway, while at the same time, your 480s are still air-cooled (but at least with a slot in between), when they routinely get to 90C+...
 
I'd never be able to OC my cpu on air to the level I have it now. My 480s easily OC to 800 on air.

I have tried with both IE8 and Firefox and just see a link to the picture.

LOL.........my settings must have gotten reset a while back when I had the mods change my username for me. I see everything just fine now.

Water is something I'd like to do, I just don't have the dedication and don't want to spend the $$$.
 
Probably need a second loop to run them under water though :eek: and probably a 4x120 rad just for the 2 480s alone...IDK if a 3x120 would be enough for 2 of them.
 
I think a 3x120 should be enough for a 980x and a 480, so if you get a 4x120 or 2 3x120s, you could do 2. Think about it: with that, you could brag about the radiators alone!
 
All that work just to get .2 ghz more than mine on air? :D

Just kidding, nice job. I really like the 60c temp but I think I'm set for now since my core temps are in the 70-75c range.
 
Very nice!!!!

I went balls out on my first WC rig. 3 x 120 SwifTech rads. 2 for GTX285x3 and 1 for i7 920. I will be switching that around later this summer: 1 for GTX285x3 and 2 for X5650 & MoBo. Still unsure if I want to go 3 loops or stick with two and just change the plumbing.
 
very neat clean looking install. great temps. wonder if adding another radiator to to the back would do much more?
