Hey guys.. the search feature is down..
I have to clean my 3.5 gal res out, I used water wetter in my loop..
Basically im gonna dump it all out and give it fresh/new everything.

The problem I have is. I don't have any more water wetter nor do I know for sure of a good product that I could pickup from a local auto parts store or hardware store..

is there another alternative or product like water wetter I could buy?
if you could, help me a.s.a.p.
I would like to clean out my loop tonight.

thanx

you can get water wetter at auto stores, its made for car radiators after all

hmm.. I'll give my local auto store a call.
thanx for the quick reply!

and of course.. they are out of stock..
have to wait a couple days.. :\\\

Auto Stores and RV dealers all have something similiar to Water Wetter to increase the cooling of the water when the engine is under heavy load. There are several other alternatives to use such as several drops of dishwashing liquid or a half ounce or so of Jet Dry will accomplish about the same effect. :)

if you really want it you can prob order it from dangerden and have it before theyre in stock, since they dont leak test the bottles :D

Most motorcycle dealers pserts departments supply it as well. Especially ones that sponsor motorcycle racing. I raced roadraced in 600 and 750 supersport for years and have a healthy supply of water wetter left over. = )

Like MajorDomo said, just use soap. It has the same effect because what water wetter does is breaks the surface tension..... that is exactly how soap works too.

thanx for your replies everyone..
My local auto supply store will have water wetter in stock in a couple days..
so I'll just wait till then.
