I ordered a full water cooling system, cost around 390 from Petra's shop & Koolkance
(bought piece by piece)
Ive been waiting for about 4 days now, and my shiping is coming in later today,
After looking further more into water cooling I saw that I never got any Thermal Grease.
My question is; M I in trouble ?!?
I know there is already some applied on the computer's cpu and gpu (usualy)
But is it possible to have a wc system without thermal grease ?
Thanks for replying =)

You will want to order some Arctic Silver, do not reuse the crap that is leftover from the stock cooling on your CPU and GPU. You need thermal grease in a water cooled system, you can't run without it.

You need new thermal compound. If you cannot wait and want to install your WC parts now, just go to any PC store and buy some thermal compound. I know 1 PC store around me that actually sells Arctic Silver 5.

If you can wait, order AS5 from svc.com or which ever online vendor you prefer. In the mean time, to keep your mind off the "how f'ing long does it take to ship thermal compound" complex. Measure and cut all your tubing slowly and precisely and leak test for 24 hours or more while you wait for the thermal compound to ship.

You should look in the package your CPU block comes in, most companies will package some TIM in the box with the block. For example, Swiftech generally gives Arctic Ceramique.
You must apply TIM and the stuff left behind when you remove the air cooler is worthless.

Whether one air or watercools, you must apply fresh TIM (thermal interface material)

Order some here:http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=959

this cleaner works really well, too:http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=46_58&products_id=2759 make sure you clean the CPU surface very well before you mount the new block and apply fresh TIM.

this TIM gets good reviews as well:http://www.performance-pcs.com/cata...ge=product_info&cPath=46_58&products_id=22176

I used performance as an example, you can always find this stuff at FrozenCpu.com as well.
I agree with the above statement, you'll need to leak-test the lines for at least 24 hours before final install, so you'll have time to wait before putting the block in it's final place.

Alright Thanks Everyone, It should be arriving in around 1 - 2 hours and I will chek the box,
If not I will make sure to order some =D
