Water Cooling Setup Question

Ok, thinking about making the plung to WC... but i have a few questions.

First mainly my flow direction, this is basically how i want it to go. Tell me what u think:
Pump > Radiator > CPU > chipset > Radiator > GPU > 2 x HDD Coolers > Resevoir > Pump

thats the flow i want to have, pump will be the swiftech MCP600, and should be able to push that circuit without a problem right? The 2 radiators will most likely be Danger Den Black Ice Micro 80mm Radiators. The other question i have is involving hose size, 1/2" is what i was going with, but the HDD colors from Koolance only come in 1/4" barbs, will having that in my setup hamper flow to much? And also i have heard some talk of "goop" that u have to put on when u install the cooler, just wondered if that is tru? (if it is the coolers are rulled out of the setup)

Lastly was thinking of going all swiftec for the water blocks? Im limited on CPU block because i dont have bolt holes :(. So i have to use tension bars, which is something the swiftech blocks offer.

As i have said before this is my first WC setup (kits are out of the question) so any info will be of much help!

I'm not sure you will get good enough flow with that pump through the whole system, you may want to look at getting two or discarding some of the waterblocks.

Also, I would recommend a single or double heater core rather than the Blace Ice radiators, unless you don't have any space for it. Flow direction looks fine.

And Swiftech makes pretty good waterblocks, you might as well get their blocks for everything.
