I've got a brand new build I'm finalizing and it's been 7 yrs since my last build. Currently my setup is:

- Corsair Obsidian 750D case (I could live in this thing)
- GIGABYTE Radeon R9 280X 3GB
- AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz
- Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 32GB 240-Pin DDR3 1600

Obviously I've omitted a few components like SSD's and PSU which I think are transparent to my water cooling build. I really am looking to piece together something from www.performance-pcs.com. They've got complete kits which I think will be good however I'm not even remotely knowledge enough to make a educated purchase. Can you veterans please help me put something together?

What I need:

- CPU block for AMD AM3+
- GPU for R9 280X
- x2 or x3 120mm radiator
- pump / reservoir
- clamps / tubing

I'd like to use 1/2" ID - 3/4" OD tubing size. I'd appreciate any feedback about components / kits / suggestions.

Please don't bother commenting on my hardware selection in comparison to x. It's what I have and works for me.

Likely your toughest job will be properly cooling the 280. Most are custom pcb's I think at this point, not sure you'll be able to find a full cover block. Otherwise your best shot is a universal block or selling it for a reference 7970 or something like that to go full cover.

You can probly cool that setup with a 360mm rad without too much trouble. I think a 360 fits in the top of that case without issue?

As for pump, I prefer the D5 series pumps, but the 35x from swiftech can be pwm controlled so that could be nice as well. TONS of res options available, I'm personally running a pump/bay res combo but I would say that's personal preference for res.

Lastly, I assume you're going barb fittings since you mentioned clamps. Definitely do metal barbs vs plastic, and I'd do 7/16 tubing instead of 1/2 for a tighter seal.
