Water Cooling problem/question (resiviour)

Allright, I'm currently constructing a mod in which I am cutting a graphic out of acrylic, sandwiching it between two larger pieces of acrylic and then sealing the edges. I then plan on running water through this "box" which would surround that cut-out graphic with fluid. Let's just accept the fact that my custom acrylic box is leak proof and works no problem.

I wanted to set this in the top panel of my tower. However, when thinking this through I have come up with a problem/question. Since this custom acrylic box is going to be the highest point in my system, will that cause a problem with the reservoir. Such as, instead of draining the water level in my reservoir over time, it will drain the water level in this acrylic box?

first, i've seen 'reservoir' spelled many different ways but yours is a first. but at least your consistent.

second, is your box actually going to be a reservoir or is it just something that the water runs through in the course of its loop?

you know, this whole time I was sitting here going "that doesn't look right", but I was in a hurry to get an answer before I leave work and go back to modding. haha, thanks for the correction! much appreciated.

and to answer your question, I want the water to flow through it.
