I am having heating issues with my current CASE/SETUP

amd 2600+ and a vantec aeroflow hsf unit, and some crapy aspire case w/ horrible air flow.

So i bought a superlan boy the other weekend ( going to be modded, but the 120 in and out cought my eye, and the fact its all alum, and over all sturdy case... the front will have to change.. ALOT thou. :D

I am wanting to go watercooled, but sadly I dont have 200+ to spend.. and just wondering if any one here could recomend me a setup that wouldn't run more than 150.

and powersuply only being a 350w, i guess i would have to upgrade that too =\

save your money. when you have enough to do it right, then take the plunge. its really not worth it to buy a cheap kit, unless all you are looking for is silence.

i installed a TT bigwater for someone a couple months back, this kit retails for about 150, but the performance was no better than air cooling. this, unfortunately, is going to be the case no matter which prefab kit you buy.

swiftechs DIY kits are what everyone here seems to like, and price isnt too steep. you might have to save a little more to get it tho.

i got a swiftech kit...if your going for silence DO NOT get ANYTHING with a Liang D4 pump (such as the mcp650 by swiftech, or the 12v DC pump from DangerDen that looks exactly the same as the swiftech pump  )

the newer swiftech kits are great...but will run you about $225 with waterblock...$175 without.

then its another 40 for the block seperate (40-60 depending on your choice might be able to find it cheaper)

if your not going for silence swiftech has THIS kit which looks GREAT for $166......BUT....a conversion kit will cost you all of $10....

so a pretty decent setup (but not very silent...i bought the 80mm radiator version of this and ended up trading my mcp650 for a hydor L30 2 pump and a clear bayres......and trading my mcw6000 waterblock for a mcw5000 block just because i HATE the look of the 6000.....with the gay ass "quick connects" sticking out...which look like shit.....

I have a a danger den maze 3 cpu and chipset cooler that im trying to sell. Send me a PM or email me if your interested.
