Water Cooling My System - Help!!!!

I have decided to try this watercooling thing out. Luckily i have a large case and think it will make things a bit easier.

I have the following components and would liek to watercool for noise/temp enhancement.

Cooler Master 830 Se Case

Intel 975XBX2 Motherboard

2 ATI x1800xtx vid cards


I have been just looking around and sawa bunch of differnt things, and i was wondering if anybody with some experience in this can tell me what would work best to cool the 2 cards and the cpu and not take up space in my case. I have everything real neat and tidy.

Your comments will be appreciated.

For the price of watercooling the X1800XTX, I would suggest just getting new cards. Nvidia based cards don't run nearly as loud in idle and/or load as some of ATI's 1800/1900 line that are hairdryers.

A full cover block would cost you about 100+ but if you want a nice clean setup then this is the best way to go, either EK or Danger Den. There are a lot of EK fanboys on here but I've trusted Danger Den for years now and they've yet to let me down. If you're wondering I run an MCW60 which is NOT a full cover block on my 8800GTS G92 and it works and I can switch out the 3d card whenever and just replacing the backplate rather than getting a brand new block.

As for CPU blocks, you can't go wrong with an Apogee GTX, D-Tek Fuzion block and/or Danger Den (maze5cpu for quad) or their TDX (for the dual cores).


It's up to you to choose the tubing. Any size will do but the smaller diameter tubing is a little easier to work with and less cluttered look than the bigger ones such as 1/2.
 
I'd tend to agree with the above... No real use spending 300$ to WC your cards when they will still perform poorer than a current 8800GTS 512mb, and be about the same level of noise.

I'd upgrade the GPU, and do a CPU only loop...

Dual radiator of your choice (Swiftech MCR220 is my rec.)
MCP655 pump
Dtek Fuzion
Masterkleer tubing
 
IMO noise reduction isn't the reason you should be going water cooling. there are much cheaper ways.

I went WC because i like modding my computer, like overclocking, and testing the limit. And consider it an investement. I knew initial investment was going to be a alot but I'll always be tweaking my computer as long as I own one..
