water cooling first setup:opinions needed

Pump : DD12V-D5 Pump Variable Speed
Radiator : Black Ice GTX480 (4x120mm fans)
Cpu Block : Copper TDX Block for Intel 775 OR D-TEK FuZion CPU Block (WHICH ONE)
Res : Danger Den Dual 5 1/4" Bay Reservoir
Tubing : Tygon 3603 Tubing 1/2" ID 3/4" OD

What should i change??

Im unsure as to how much tubing to order and whether to get 1/2" or 3/4" tubing?:confused:

This setup will be cooling either an OC'ed Q6600 or an E6600 and a BFG 8800gtx watercooled graphics card. is this good enough?

Do i need 2 buy any 'fittings'? And have i missed anything out that i would need out?

ha ANOTHER question how/where do i fit the rad?
The case i will be using is the Lian-Li PC V2100 PLUS Silver Aluminium Full-Tower ( Good or bad ? )

And lastly i think do i get High Flow or perfect seal ?

I have kind of the same question:

I think you'll be ok with that big radiator. I'm only gonna go for 1x120mm rad for the Intel QX6700.

With my quad core running a stress test its temps range from 44-52c mine too are measured with Core Temp (running SP2004) but I'm running a dual GTX radiator but also cooling 2 1900s in crossfire, Bad Axe Chipset along with a couple Raptors in Aqua Drive.

Considering your case and it is easy to add a 120mm radiator (two of them if necessary) here is what I suggest.

TDX 775
DDC 12v Pump
Black Ice GTX Xtreme 120 Radiator
Papst 120mm fan
Fillport with Reservoir and T
8 Feet of 3/8" Tubing
10 3/8" Hose Clamps
MCT-5 or FluidXP water replacements

I want everything to fit my case because I transport it often. Seeing that his Quad gets max 52°C at load with 2x120mm, I think I'll be safe with 1x120mm. But I'm planning to OC it to 3.2GHz (stock is 2.66GHz)

But it is a lot of money so I want to be sure... Here is a link to the thread I started with another question.
 
Danger Den makes some good stuff but there's better out there. I would go with a Fuzion block over the TDX, especially for multi core cpus. Much better block for handling the higher heat output than the TDX.

A 1x120 rad might cool your system sufficiently but certainly won't be optimal. Should be similar temps to a high end air cooling. I would recommend at least a 2x120mm rad for todays multi core cpu's.

Don't use the FluidXP crap. It gunks up your system and doesn't cool as good as water. Distilled water + pentosin + biocide is about the best you can get.
