Water cooling even worth it?

I have a venice at 2.8 or more all the time that maxxed out temp is 35c load idle is 27c max

I have xp-120 right now

The noise doesnt bother me enough to warrant the cost of water cooling.

Other than noise is there any reason anyone can think of to water cool a computer that pulls that temp?
 
You may be able to push your speed past 2.8 with water and added voltage. Not to mention is looks sweet. :cool:
 
i would keep it the way it is, with water cooling you probably cant push the venice too much father, prolly a little over 3.0 ghz maybe, but i think your fine the way you are.
 
is it worth it? no not really since you are doin fine with ur xp120 and your temps are satisfying.....unless you wanna burn sum money and have new stuff to play with but other than that, nah
 
With AMD I have found that air cooling is just about as good as a decent w/c set-up.
On the Intel side it is MUCH more effective, speaking on Pentium D.
 
Like the other comments, you won't get much more performance out of the cpu by going to watercooling and since noise reduction isn't your concern you gain almost nothing for the substantial increase in cost. However, consider that with watercooling you could push your graphics card more if you were to add it to the watercooling rig.
 
Water cooling does look cool, and the right one could drop those temps below 10. I used to have an aquagate 3 (i think it was 3). It kept my intel 3.2 at 8C idle without overclocking. In that system though, especially with that CPU it wouldnt be worth it. Maybe after the other hardware is upgraded.
