this is my first attempt at water cooling, I use my machine for games and heavy duty 3d software.
I managed to got 4.2mhz out of a stock ait cooler on the 2600k.

I now have a lot more money and since i build a knew rig once every 5 years :D
i intend to go the whole way.
However i have not even considered cooling RAM or a North bridge.
CPU and GPU are obvious.

ok.

I have a cooler master HAF 912+ case, I would prefer to put the whole thing inside the case.
But if I can put together an awesome build i'll do anything, price doesnt bother me,

I havent had a chance to read a lot of stuff yet, as a standard buy i thought the zalman resorator xt looked interesting but havent studied it at all.

If you dont want to write a reply just chuck in a link, with some information.
I'm going to research this until the cows come home, so any answer could be right at the moment :)

let me know what you guys think.

I'm after quiet and cold, arent we all, i'm just willing to pay for it :D

What GPU? You can do an Rasa 750 RX240 kit depending on what's in your case and your GPU (see below).

Cheapest price I've seen after a quick search - http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/xsra750rxwak.html

Then you'd just need a GPU block and I'd recommend getting your own tubing and possibly pick out your own fittings if you want. The rasa kit includes a pump, res, rad, fans, CPU block (basically everything for a CPU loop). I'd run distilled and PT Nuke and stay away from EK GPU blocks. The pump that comes with the kit is said to be weak, but it's you're just running the CPU and GPU then you should be fine.

If you want to change the fans and you want silence I suggest getting Gentle Typhoon AP14's.

You don't really need to cool them motherboard since newer chipsets tend to not run that hot these days.

Thanks for the quick reply, i have 6595 ati 2gb, hah, its late here cant remember the exact model number. Its black and red like the one in the pic.
Ive heard of typhoon fans, i have a 3tb scratch drive, running os on 80gb ssd, and 1tb storage for junk
I see u have urs stacked on to of each other.
Asus p67 deluxe.
Hope that narrows it down.
Hopefully that made sense.
Feel free to add more :),
Can i do better than xsra 750 regardless of cost? Or point in the right direction.

A 6950?

That's just an image I came across through a google search.

If you want to spend more you can always go with a custom loop. I'd externally mount a 360 rad either on the back or top of the case.

Just some ideas to get you started. I recommend doing a res and pump combo because it will save you space in the case. I usually go with PrimoChill tubing and I use barbs, but if you have the money you can go with compression fittings (they add up quickly) and don't forget the PT Nuke,

Thats quite a list thanks for that. :) good place to start. Yes 6950 thank you :).

To mr beanz, i didnt think 3.2 - 4.2 on a crappy lil intel cooler whilst under load and still silent was bad, please explain . Cheers guys keep it coming.
Keep it coming all :)

Ah Mate, just teasing a little :)

Saw you had Mhz as opposed to Ghz - just couldn't help myself. No harm intended, I do it too sometimes, hehe.
