Hey all,

Got a quick question for everyone, I've got a client here that would like a pure water cooled system, but he wants his PSU to also be water cooled.

I remember seeing them somewhere before but I can't remember where I saw it and all I find is custom do it yourself guides. I would just like to get one shipped to me and I can put it in.

Does anyone know if a company actually designs these? Give me the link if you can please.

The PSU itself would be water cooled, I know I know, I've told him about a fanless PSU but he wants one that is watercooled.

I've explained that the cooling kit would need a fan anyways because there has to be something that cools the water down, but he insists that he wants total fanless system. I also told him to go liquid Nitrogen then because with a water cooled system will still have the minimum of 1 fan.

I've shown him the targan PSU's but again it has a fan. But the fan is only 2200RPM so who really cares? But this guy does.

umm, liquid nitro?

he doesnt mind having to fill like 5 seperate evaporators like every two hours?

fanless powersupplies are horriable don't even consider unless your running it bone stock.

You told him to go liquid nitro??? Hmmmm interesting to hear from a guy that sells computer or whatever........

Uh, what exactly are you going to watercool on a PSU?

The voltage regulators inside the power supply are what produce the most heat. They are meant to be mounted to heatsinks, so mount them to a waterblock instead and there you go.

I don't know of any mainstream h2o PSU, you simply have to make them yourself like I did here

even with the VRs cooled by h20, there are still componets that need air circulation. he will still need one fan to move air through the PSU to cool those componets......

I know this is a little late but
Cool Current 350
$285.00
The Cool Current 350 is the first commercially available water cooled power supply. For those in the pursuit to cut down all the unnecessary fans in the PC, this PSU is a must have. This unit has no fans whatsoever and makes absolutely no noise. The cooling is contributed to a low profile radiator block located outside of the power pack.

Hope that helps
