Anyone else see that? I was a little bummed when i saw an external box though. I think it would have been quite awesome to see a totally enlcosed system. It looks like there is enough room. I mean the fan would probably be sticking out, but thats it. stick a PA 120.1 or hell an MCR-120 would probably due. I think you would get by with 5/16 line and an mcp-350 in there. I did like the koolance blocks though, nice and low profile. It would have been great. I'm thinkin maybe i'll get one later on just to water cool it.... we'll see.
 
You cannot fit a radiator inside the 360 and still have room for the waterblocks and pump, the thing just simply isn't big enough.
 
I wonder if that is the same one that was built by a guy here in SoCal? I met him one day I was at Sharka and he said that it was going to be shown at some place out in the desert a while back. Got a linky?
 
I can make a block small enough. The first block i made for my x2 3800 did pretty damn well and it was only about 7/16" tall. There's also the NF4 block im using thats just barely 1/2" tall. I think its very very possible if you use side inlets/outlets and small tubing. BYt the looks of you have about the depth of the dvd-rom to get the rad in there. I mean, of course there would be some cutting, but i think very doable.

Or maybe just W/C the cpu, and not the gpu. that might help with routing a bit and an 80mm rad would definetly work. Just some ideas.
 
The 360 is only 80mm tall, and that is the entire case so when you factor in taking away the plastic casing, the motherboard, the waterblocks caps etc.. you are looking at maybe 40mm of clearance for a rad/fan combo, you simply cannot enclose it all into the 360, the rad/fan needs to be external, or you need to mod the 360 with a little box connected to it like the CoolIT system.
 
Oh of course ther eneeds to be some external, but i wouldn't have a box. A fan would be the only protruding part, and that would be ~ 1" . Or hey! what about 4 60mm fans, like the ones that come stock on AMD cpu's?? those are like 1cm thick. Add that to a a copper "loop" style radiator being ~15mm, and BAM!! 25mm fan and rad combo... hmm.....now im thinkin......
