I'm going to be doing a mod to my case which will require me to drain my water, but I dont have any extra additive, and I cant run out to buy any because I live in a shit-hole of a town. Any suggestions to what I could use that would be safe for a pump on the Kingwin AWC-1 kit? Thanks.
 
Do a search on this forum. There is a thread about a week old discussing water additives... ;)
 
i like to use a 10% mix of Car anti-freeze, i have also used small amounts of Pond algee killer

Car Anti-freeze, in about a 10-20% concentration will work fine. That's certainly what Kingwin recommends.

nope he wasn't being a smartass, antifreeze is probably the most commonly used additive in many watercooling loops. (use anti-freeze in 10% concentration).

Other popular additives include water wetter, swiftech hydrx, and zerex. There have been a few threads recently on the topic of additives, take a look at em to decide which one you like best.
