So I understand many companies have void warranty stickers on their screws if you try to replace the stock heatsink to watercool or re-apply TIM. I read a thread that was dated in 2012 stating that Asus, EVGA, and XFX allow you to remove the heatsink but when you RMA you need to put the stock heatsink back on(Duh).
Do these companies still do this, and which companies only require you to provide them with a serial # only and no receipt or proof of purchase for RMA if I am a second or third owner?
