In the past few weeks this forum has been taking up a large chunk of Administrator time and will cease immediately. The petty spats, namecalling, personal attacks and slinging around terms like fanboy, fanboi, fanboism will stop one way or another.

From this point forward any member who disregards this notice will receive and AUTOMATIC BAN for 3 days....repeating the offense will not be a good career move.

This will be the only warning you will receive, so don't come crying when you are banned for disrespectful actions.

What about random namecalling not directed at anyone in !DOUCHEPICKLE! particular? I ask since I !FANBOI! suffer from forum Tourette' Syndrome. :(
 
I think you should instruct your "moderators" to actually do some homework and learn to distinguish "opinion/experience based posts" from trolling.

I recieved an infraction for posting based on my past experiences with a product, for reasons detailed as "trolling".

Based on this Wiki-pedia defitiontion:
An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.[2]

The post was about problems with 4870 performance in Fallout 3. I posted that the best way to resolve this was to get rid of them. I personally had severe problems with my 4870s and sold them on these very forums. Also, based on Kyles own advice I did this swap because of Micro-stutter issues which he outlined in his own review. :eek::rolleyes:

It seems that moderators here do not care what your posts subject may be about, they just have become too quick to react regardless of the reasons you are posting. I've been here over 3 years and never had an issue.
