Also includes a touch cover keyboard, but I don't know how useful those are. Seemed to be a pretty decent deal to me. Even something as old as the SP2 generally only sells at this price level if it has a broken screen.

Yeah, it's not the newer fancy ones, but at 300$? I'd be tempted if I didn't already have a first gen that still worked just fine.

Note that there's no pen, though. It does come with a charger.

Werid that there's no pen. I have this model for a few years now. Outside of some bugs I really like it. Use one note for each of my classes

Yeah, the lack of pen's a bit weird. I'm not sure if that's normal for SP refurbs or not.

It's a bit pricey, but the tablet is still only 330-340ish even if you factor that in.

Cold deal. This is the older version with the 1.6 GHz i5 4200u and inferior screen from the SP1. The refreshed SP2 has a 1.9 Ghz i5 with a much more accurate IPS screen.

/edit: Would also suggest going for the Power Cover Keyboard instead of the standard. It will nearly double the battery life. Some may not like the extra thickness and weight but it is worth it for my usage pattern.
