What am I going to do with my pair of Dell 2209wa monitors if I upgrade to these? Anyone looking to by a pair of ips 22 inchers?

BTW no need for a coupon code, it's just sale priced at 499.

I feel like it's priced $499 more often than not....

Now if it hit $400, THAT would be [H]ot

I see it as 499 without any coupon, just the instant savings price. Are there any accessories coupons out there, maybe for sale on Ebay? Or is that a thing of the past with Dell Monitors?

If you have a discover cashback card, you can log in and click through to get 5% cashback from Dell. I think that's best thing I can find to add to this warm deal.

We can get these at work for $416 with 5 year warranty. lol. Too bad I can't purchase it for personal use. *sigh*

if you buy this on ebay is the dell warranty still valid? or does it have to bought directly from dell for warranty to be honored

Bing + Ebay is the cheapest route to a U2410. Plus no tax....

I've bought Dell monitors on eBay--DON'T DO IT. If you ever need to have warranty service Dell will require the original order number FROM DELL--meaning the eBay monitor you bought Dell will refuse to service because you most likely don't have the original receipt from when the eBay seller bought it from Dell.

eBay + Dell products = bad news bro.

so buying from craigslist or secondhand would be bad news too right if they don't have a receipt?

What kind of warranty do you think you're getting when you buy a used item second hand? If it's more than 'none' you're kidding yourself. People get tricked on eBay by 'new from Dell authorized dealer' b.s., other false statements of warranty, or just their own misperception that new=warranty. People could be lied to buying second hand too but they ought to know better.

You guys are correct. Even at Best Buy we have had Dell try to flake out on LCD warranties because even though the tag and the box specify a 3 year warranty, they try to screw the customer out of it (and screw Best Buy, too) by saying they only get 1 year since they didn't buy the monitor WITH a computer. That's about as lame as it gets in my book. Dell will usually give in a do it if we fight them, but why should the store and the customer have to fight to get them to honor the advertised warranty?
