Looks to be a really sweet setup for the cost and a nice space saver. Was going to wait for the Dream Machine Pro but I already have the Switch 8 which is plenty for my needs, and with the Cloud Key Gen 2 Plus it will act as NVR and Controller. Will post pictures and feedback when it arrives along with my Rack and UPS.

Just as an update I realized my current 8 port unifi Poe switch is not enough so I got a 16 port gen 1 Poe unit to replace my 8 port. So I grabbed the unit that can hold a gen 2 plus controller and USG 3p. Sadly this will be short lived as I will most likely grab the new rumored unifi xg pro USG. It will be the same CPU and board as the new dream machine but without the switch and built in protect controller and HDD bay.

well it finally came in. You can see there would be room for the small 60 watt switch but I needed more ports and POE flexibility. Fairly sturdy and its nice having it rack mounted. As one of the few options out there I highly recommend it.

Just set it up a few days ago. We shall see as its still fairly cool out. I plan to rig up a desk fan in the summer months here in CA. NAS HDDs are sitting under 30C and Plex server runs fairly cool to begin with.
