I have an Nvidia GeforceFX 5200 card with a dsub, dvi, and svideo out.. I want to use my computer with my tv... how would i go about this?

If you TV has an svideo input on the back, that looks the same as the on your card, just buy a cable and hook it up. Restart and turn the TV on, the desktop should show up.

My tv does not, hence the problem. I want to know if there is a special adapter or cable that would go from my vid card to me tv

svideo to composite video thingy converter type of gadjet thingamaworkie. at radio shack they sell them for a stunning 20 dollars!!! that is a total rip off. so you buy them somewhere else. the video cards that come usually with a celestica type of video card come with svideo cord and a converter thingy. its a little adapter. as ive said that many times. just say svideo to composite video and they willb e OOOOOO ja look over here n yeah... okay buy
