Called every Walmart in my location. All of them are getting 4 premiums and 10 cores. Every one of them already have atleast 4 people in line that want the premium and most have the max 14 people in line waiting. Its only 11am. I even called a Walmart 100 miles away in the middle of nowhere and they already have 2 people in line and they are only getting 2 premiums.

Oh well looks like it'll be an all nighter at Best Buy tonight. :(

EDIT: Yes, Sold out of 360's :D

From what I heard many months ago is that pre orders for the first and second week were are filled up. Meaning if you did'nt get a pretty order then you are SOL for quite awhile.

SOl??

no don't be ridicoulus just pay $1000 for one on ebay. problem solved. ;)

/edit that is if you are REALLY that desperate :)

Pardon my ignorance but what is everyone talking about? Premium what, core what?

oh well you don't get it now. you wait. how tough is that?? :)

14 total xbox's for a Walmart? What a joke. Who cares though because there aren't any good release games. I really don't care about waiting 6 months or however long it will be.

Know anybody with a Sam's club business account? Unless alot of people with business accounts are lining up for them, which might happen, show up tomorrow at 6am with said friend, see how many business account members are there that early. If not many, stand in line, wait until doors open early at 7am for business members, bypass regular members waiting in line, buy Xbox360, have car running so crowd you bypassed don't beat you senseless as you leave :)

I called the Walmart by me, no one is in line yet, they have signs up saying they are available tomorrow to a first come first serve basis. And they are getting about 12 or so. Also went to Meijer, who had the X360 demo kiosk up and running in glorious 720p and it looked fantastic, no jaggies. Must have been set up properly, and the screen was right at eye level. That store is getting 12 systems also, 6 of each, and they are raffling them off tonight at 11:30, if you get one, you take it home at 12:35am.

On another note, I called circuit city, and they will be handing out vouchers to the number of people who they can gaurantee systems to a couple hours before they open tomorrow. I'm assuming the line will be starting around dinner time, no one there that I talked to knew how many they had received, so it's a toss up.

What's sad (IMO) is that people will line up tonight and stay outside all night just for this thing.

Guess that makes me sad then. headed out the door in a few minutes to go get in line. Have a tent, foldup chairs, and a cooler full of beverages ready to go. :D

my zipcode

store 1
Total Systems for Launch: 54
(42 premium, 12 core)

store 2
Total Systems for Launch: 50
(38 premium, 12 core)

The Wal-Mart on Charlotte Pike in Nashville, TN has 18 units. 6 Premium, 12 Core. They have 18 chairs set up, and whoever is sitting in those chairs at mid-night are the ones able to get a 360. I am not sure if this is specific to just this Wal-Mart, or it is a nation wide deal. There is already 1 guy sitting in the first chair. I have no idea how they establish who can get a premium, and who can gets stuck with the cripple Core system.

You sad man! :D

FYI - For anyone intending to go wait outside Best Buy to pick up an Xbox 360 in the morning, I have just been informed that the ONLY way to purchase one is in a bundle. They are going to have 4 different bundles but I didn't get the prices for them.

I highly doubt that, but I'll take the Sunday ad with me just in case, where it clearly shows you can buy the system by itself. thats what i did at Circuit City with the PSP.

I went there on launch dayt after school, they had tons behind the counter. I told the lady I wanted one and she got it for me along with Twisted Metal. I told her I didnt want it and she said "We have to sell them together, there is no way to ring them up seperatly. I grabbed on of the advertisements sitting by the door, asked her to call the manager over and showed him the advertisement that said "PSP Value pack $249.99" and absolutly no mention of having to buy Twisted Metal with it. He then took the PSP and miraculously wasable to ring it up by itself! Funny how that works out.

When I heard it, I thought the same thing. I am just relaying information that was told to me by a friend who is an employee as well as other employees at various stores in WI.

that is a neat tool, my walmart dosn't show up on it though, maybe that is why they are still in stock ;)
