Should I get dual 6800gt now, or wait until the new card from nvidia comes out?
They come out in april, but could they be actually in retail much later again? i.e. june/july...thus making me get gt?

i also have the same question, buy now? i got $580, some people have said that in 2 months new cards will appear. i just wish i knew more.
 
Just buy the card now bud-- if you wait another couple of months, you're still going to have to pay premium first-release prices, and with a GT you'll be able to easily OC to Ultra speeds RIGHT NOW.

Why screw around? There's not a single game on the immediate horizon that'll max out an OC'd GT-- and likely won't be for a good while-- that means that anything new you buy is going to be so far ahead of game technology that it'll be worth nothing in real world terms--- like AMD's 64-bit thing-- I'm a die-hard AMD'er, but who gives a shit about 64-bit-- it's a marketing thing right now---


Buy the GT.

Play it NOW.

Enjoy the next three months instead of waiting for whatever is "next"

I too face this delema. For now I think I'll wait as I am still waiting on SLi boards for the Pentium 4.
