This sucks, i only get a little over 3500 with my rig (See sig).

is 850XT THAT slow? I hit almost 5000 with a P4 2.8C and 6800GT all at stock speeds...

Wiat Rick what are the clocks?
Clocks -

GPU: 765mhz
Mem: 1600 (although I have yet to push the memory)

CPU: 275 x 10 @ 1.5v (X2 3800+)

What overclocking tool were those extreme overclockers using to hit 1000mhz core/2000mhz memory with LN? Where is that overclocking tool? Seems like most overclockig tools availible are capped at 1600mhz on the memory?

The tools are readily available at driverheaven, net

Just sold my Sli and bought a x1800xt. Can't wait to get back to better image quality. And to beat RickCains 05 score...

why does the X1800XT perform on par with the 7800GTX 256 in most games, while the X1800XT scores like 1000 points higher than the GTX in 3dmark?

I think it is because of the shader intensive nature of 3dmark. Justa hunch though...

Actually, 3Dmark05 is vertex heavy. Which is why the X1800 XT does so well in it.

Thanks for the correction Johnsey. Knew it was something like that...
