Righty,

After lurking on here for a few weeks and checking over various posts, ive become slightly more confused then when i started /doh.

I currently have a TT Tsunami case, currently amd 64bit 3000, (moving to 3200 venice core soon) and a GF6800 ultra card. i would like some ideas on what to purchase for this kind of setup, ideally all internal but that might not work. No probs in moving the HDD bay out, (should free up enough space for res + pump. i have searched for some piccys of others setup but have been unlucky, maybe its the case.

I was looking over some posts about the kit, seems that Swifttech, danger den ( i think it was) and aquacomputers. Now after looking into those i was considering....

Swiftech H20-220 APEX "Ultra" CPU Liquid Cooling Kit - with added GPU cooler (if possible ?)

AquaComputer High End 240 Kit Eheim 1046 (with Aquacomputer AquagraFX6800 Rev 2 Block and Aquacomputer Cuplex XT Block Athon64 ) this is a bit more expensive but german engineering :D

Maze4 - 1 A64 CPU Tec Block, NV-6800 GPU Block, Eheim 1250 Pump, Thermochill 120.2, Aquatube Blue 8mm (res) and whatever tubing i need.

What do you guys think ? can anyone offer me any advice, i wont be doing any major O/C but would be nice if the option was there.

Thanks for any help ^^

I'd go with #2.

#1 is pretty good, great quality, good construction, good temperatures.
#2 is a good Aqua Computer setup, except for the radiator. Buy all those parts seperatly, ditch the AC 240 rad and go with a Black Ice Pro 2x12, and it'll perform MUCH better.
#3, the Maze4 CPU is lacking in performance, and I wouldn't go with an aquatube in a high-flow setup.

AquaComputer is engineered primarily for looks. There's no other explaination for them mixing aluminum and copper at the prices they charge.

My vote is for the Swiftech kit.

after pricing up the AC stuff it seems its going to reach around £250+ mark, which is a wee bit too much at the moment, so i think im going to do with the swifttech one.

i got an MSI K8N Neo Platinum (754Chip), the normal pack will fit, just the + model came with mobo cooling and a GPU cooler, as is ill just get the GPU cooler seperate :)

Why do you say it won't fit? The NB is below the PCI-e slot and looks that it'll be clear of the card although it would block the 2nd PCI slot. You wouldn't be able to use the 1st PCI slot due to the GPU block.

good point actually, i was looking at it but it looked like the GPU heatsink was over lapping it quite alot, but if its got the W/C on the GPU, then it will remove the stock heatskin and enable space to pop it on,

still doesnt solve the problem of getting the H20-220 APEX ULTRA+ in the UK :)

ye, thats the plan, just would have been easier to get it all in one but nevermind :) thanks guys
