Just curious, how are people keeping track of their performance in VR? Just got my Rift setup, so far I'm having a blast and things seems to be going well enough even on my older rig. I'd like to make sure I'm hitting the requisite 90 fps though, otherwise it'll be new rig time. But how do I actually tell if I'm dropping any frames? Tried googling it but didn't really find anything, I feel like I'm missing something obvious though, can't be that hard.

MSI Afterburner shows the framerate and a hell of a lot more with a very long history on my Rift.
I use it to monitor

CPU use on all cores
GPU use
Framerate
Frametime
GPU clocks
Memory clocks
GPU voltage
CPU per core temps
GPU temps
Gfx memory use
System memory use
Swapfile use
Limiters for the gfx card.

Superb tool.

Average framerates aren't very useful when measuring performance in VR. Timings and delays are what's important.

'Frametime' is there too.

Whether its running at 90fps or not is very easy to see and you can tell why.
I use this to set up game quality settings on my Rift.
Its damn perfect for the job.
I havent found a need to use anything else.
