VPN user shows up as another user?

I'm new at this so could someone please explain this to me. I have a vpn endpoint setup on my Windows 7 Professional 64 installation. I have my account and I made a dummy account for a friend to test the connect and RDP. When he logs in using his username and password, the Incoming Connections say that it's me that is logged in remotely. Explain to me what this means please. It tells him the same thing when he logs in as well. Do I have something setup wrong?

I'm having trouble picturing what it is you're describing, any chance you could post a screencap?
