VPN tunnel? Erm..

if i setup a vpn on my router, can i use it to tunnel my internet connection.. IE,


Computer 1 > *internet* > router > *internet* ?

i understand that when i connect to the vpn i will be assigned another ip from the router, IE 192.168.0.43 for my vpn connection, but how can i exclusivley use that connection for all my browsing etc?

Windows will use your VPN connection as the default route, if that is how your router is setup to work, meaning a VPN from your internal clients. Usually a VPN connection will allow you to connect from outside your network TO your LAN via whatever internet connection is on that workstation. What yours might do if it's wireless is to setup an internal VPN tunnel for added security on the WLAN.
