VPN and Website Issues

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever heard of a web page not being able to be displayed due to an issue with someone being VPN'd in to the office ?

Odd question, I know...but just curious.

On some firewall/vpn boxes it won't let you access anything outside the firewall. I forget the term. "Split Tunnel" I beleive it is.

Hmmm. I don't think that's the issue, as it occurs from both inside and outside the network. I understand how what you mentioned might be a factor but I think this something else. Aside from that possibility, is it even feasible for the two to be related ?
