VP201B ratio question...

You know how some LCDs, at certain resolutions, can make a photo look "stretched"? Well, I just want to be sure that the Viewsonic VP201B's ratio doesn't make its native resolution of 1600x1200 display pictures that look "stretched", horizontally or vertically. I think it has to do with the screen being too long horizontally, so it ends up stretching the pic at its native resolution.

Do you know what I mean, or am I not being clear enough? :p
 
1600x1200 is the standard 4:3 aspect ratio, so any standard image (normal TV, most wallpapers, etc.) will be fine. The only screens that have aspect problems are 1280x1024, which has an extra 64 pixels in its height (making it 5:4), and any widescreen monitors, which tend to be 16:9 or 16:10.

Do you have the LCD? If so, how do you like it?
 
I have the vp171b and if the 201 is the same thing (just bigger) I believe you will enjoy it. My resolution is the 1280x1024, but since most programs and games support that resolution nothings looks stretched.
