I've decided to buy Viewsonic VP191B from NCIX two weeks ago but they haven't been able to get it instock for while. :(

So I did some driving and found this local computer store have the VP191B with 8ms sticker on it. I asked the sales person if he could open it so I can see if there were any dead pixel but he wasn't very happy about it and said no. Main reason I ordered through NCIX first place was because they had this zero dead pixel policy for it.

Anyways I want to ask if someone had a issue with dead pixel with Viewsonic monitors, if not I'm thinking about just buying from the store.

Edit: oh, I'm from Canada :p

just go back and find a different sales person. or a manager who will let you power it on. I buy my laptops retails for the same reason and i've never had a store tell me i couldn't inspect it first. I'd had some complaining, but once they figured out i was serious about buying it the box cutters came out.

Hmm... I check my e-mail just now and they shipped it and sent me the confirmation letter. :D

just got mine a few hours ago....0 dead pixels :) ordered from zipzoomfly.com
