Does anyone know exactly what case voodoo uses for their omen series ? Is it some oem case ?
 
Custom built case designed by them :D I can't find anything remotely similiar...and the paintjob is top notch.
 
Voodoo uses a heavily customized Lian-Li case for its Omen called the Maga chassis. Its customized straight from Lian-Li for Voodoo PC, inside and out. Their custom chassis are part of the cornerstone of establishing their brand. If you ask me its an example of what many other so-called integrators should do instead of using a generic off-the-shelf case that any of us could build in.



 
since seeing that case ages ago ive bounched around the throught of mouting a double rad up front in a v series. some of the grilled lian li drive covers and a hole in the bottom of the 51/2 drive bays.
 
The 24k Gold plated Omen case looks hot....:cool:
 
Anyone think it would be possible to order a case from them ? I bet they would charge an arm and a leg for one, but it would still be worth it :D .

Not possible. Voodoo cases are very proprietary. If you want to a Voodoo chassis, you have to buy a Voodoo system. Which is not necessarily a bad thing =)

I doubt it as well, but like you said, worth a shot.

I emailed Maingear about a year ago when they were using the 6070 with the windowed front door to see if I could buy that chassis (I lack the patience to complete the window mod and paint job), and they said they only sell it as a system. Like the one gentleman said, it's a way to establish a brand. Plus, they may be afraid of someone buying their chassis and putting crap components in with a bad wire job, making them look bad.

come to think about it, the only "name" DIY cases I can think of are the FragBox, Dell XPS, and Monarch Hornet (RIP).
