C|Net has a bit of breaking news this morning saying that the CEO of Vonage has resigned. There is not much information right now except that they have named an interim CEO until a replacement can be found.

Vonage announced Thursday that Michael Snyder has stepped down from his position as Chief Executive Officer. He has also resigned from the Company's Board of Directors effective April 11. Jeffrey Citron, the company's chairman, has been named interim CEO while the company looks for a replacement.

whats that saying, rats leave a sinking ship. Doesn't look to good when the CEO leaves when you are in the middle of a legal battle to see if you can stay up and running.

Or the saying about getting out while the getting is good... This couldn't happen at a worse time for them. Oh well...

I hope their whole company fails because of the song they have in their TV commercials.

I really hope vonage doesn't tank, I really don't want to go back to overpriced landlines.

I dislike Vonage simply because they tried to scam my wife out of $200 when they first started up, but I'd hate to see a company go just because of such a generic patent.

And their stock is up 11% today

but its still down like 80% from IPO lol...

Vonage being gone wouldn't mean landlines are the only option. There are many VOIP companies out there, and considering that AT&T doesn't even sell landlines anymore, I don't think that's ever going to be the main option again. I'm happy with my Vonage account.
