Does any know if it's possible to use a cisco voip phone on a vonage subscription? If not, I'm wondering if you could make it work... could be an interesting project.
All I can tell you is with my experience with Cisco VoIP phones (I assume you mean a model like 7912 or 7960), they don't REQUIRE CallManager to work; they can do Session Initiated Protocol.
i dont think vonage supports it, but i know there are a few who do. (packet 8 or something, i dont rememver) check out the voip forum at dslr, theres alot of discussion there on it. or you could throw an asterisk box together and connect your phones and various providers to that....
