I feel embarrassed to ask, but what do all the voltages do ?
So far, I know that the +12v is for the hdd motors, fans, gfx card(s) and cpu.
The +3.3v is for memory and hdd's ?
The +5v is for.......umm, I forget.
The +5VSB, not sure, is it for powering USB devices ?

I do hope lots of people wanted to ask this, but didn't like to......... :D

It depends on the device

3.3 volt only goes into the motherboard
5v and 12v power fans, hdd's and optical drives.

5vsb is the 5v standby, it is always powered even if the computer is 'off'

Thanks for the reply...........

Oooops, for putting this post in the wrong section.......

3.3V goes into SATA drives on most newer PSU's but isn't implemented in SATA drives yet.
