voltage question

Hello everybody, I'm new to the overclocking scene and want to ask a voltage question. My question is when changing the voltages does one set the mch voltage higher than the cpu voltage when overclocking or does the mch voltage stay in the same range as the cpu voltage?

i leave it alone, only raise a voltage when things become unstable, or in the case of A64's, low vcore + high vdimm = bad
