Voltage problem!

Hi!
I have an
AMD Sempron 2600+
512mb Ram 400mhz
A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard.
Gigabyte a9250 TD.

I have installed Asusrobe, software that asus motherboards include. It checks the temperature and voltage of the cpu.
When I'm playing Asusprobe advices me that the +12V Threshold is at 13.419, when that happens the pc beeps.
The problem is that I dont know what does that mean.
What do I have to do to keep the +12V Threshold at a lower level?

It means that your +12V line is being over volted to 13.419V....In other words, your power supply has voltage stability issues. However if your computer is stable (not freezing, crashing, resetting), I wouldn't worry about it much. In my experience with Asusprobe, it has given me many irregular errors which I know to be just a software problem - restarting the comp normally fixes it. For the most part it works fine. But if its giving u feedback and your comp is stable then don't worry about it. Just turn it off. :)
 
Even if a restart it, asusprobe keeps doing that.
if it is the power supply, what can I do?
Would you recommend another software.
By the way I also have Linux installed, and it never gets over volted, of course I dont play games on linux.
 
Sorry, no other software comes to mind. If the voltage issue is still showing up after a restart, then you may just have to get a new power supply. But like I said before, if the comp is stable then i wouldn't worry about it.
btw...what brand/size power supply are using?
 
I have no idea. Im not much into hardware.
How can I know the brand/size?
 
The brand name is written on the Power Supply itself. And by size I mean the maximum power output.
eg: my power supply's brand is Enermax; the size is 350 Watts
If you see no brand written then its most likely a cheap generic power supply that came with the case. These are notorious for not giving stable power. If thats the case, I say upgrade to a real brand such as Antec, Enermax, Themaltake, etc...
 
Check the voltages in your motherboards BIOS, maybe Asusprobe is just being a whore. You can also try motherboard monitor.
 
Ok, I tried with Motherboard Monitor and i get the same results.
I guess I just a own a cheap power supply.
Will be there any problems if i dont upgrade?

My power supply is an Axis LC-B350ATX.
The max output is 350w.

It says the +5v +3.3v+ 12v combined, max is 330w.

My motherboard is na Asus A7n8x-e deluxe, and the Cabinet is kinda small, could this be part of the problem?

That depends. Besides Asusprobe, are you having any problems such as stability issues? If not then don't worry about it. But keep in mind that the power supply is definitely cheap. If you try to add another cd drive or hard drive in the future, those power levels are gonna become even more unstable. I'd invest in a new power supply from a reputable brand soon.

By cabinet, I'm guessing you mean chassis. In that case, No. Size doesn't matter (no pun intended;)). As long as there is a couple of fans for intake and exhaust, it should be fine.
 
use a multimeter... and check the voltages at a molex connector. If they read high as well, then I'd get a better PSU.
