Voltage + memory do not downclock on 7000 series?

I've noticed that at idle my 7770 (XFX) does clock down the core to 300mHz at the desktop, but the memory is pegged at 1150mHz (supposed to be 300mHz) and the voltage sticks at 1.0V (should be 0.85V). I'm using dual monitors.

Is there any way to get the memory clock and voltage to be correct for the idle state?

what tool were you using to overclock? download afterburner/trixx

check clocks on a single monitor

it's functioning as intended for dual monitors. unplug one monitor and watch your memory clock fall back down.

What about the voltage? Surely the core doesn't need 1.0 volts if it's downclocked to 300mhz.

i no longer have a second monitor on my desk so i can't check. unplug one monitor and see if the voltage drops. if it does, i'd say that's a good indication the voltage is functioning as intended too.

Note that if you're using 12.11 beta 3 or 4 drivers its common that 300/150 clocks do not work because of some driver bug.

I'm running dual monitors (1920x1200 + 1280x1024) on a 2GB 7850. The card is downclocked for normal use to 550/900 and voltage dropped down to 930mV. The voltage was 900mV before but I experienced a couple BSOD's like that with the message "driver_irql_not_less_or_equal." They usually occur while playing youtube videos. Hopefully 930mV with a +10 board power is stable for me.
