I would like to have some idea of voltages for my 2.6c.. What is the stock voltage, what is an acceptable voltage to raise too for overclocking purposes. I am running a P4C800E asus board, the temps for the core are flucuating in cpu id...??? I am running at 3.2 with core voltage set to 1.6, and i am getting a reading of 1.536 to 1.552 under load, normal idle i am running at 1.632 to 1.648. at 1.648, that is more than i specified in the bios setting on my asus board. Why am i flucating so much, and furthermore why are the voltages much higher than what i set too in the bios? Thanks, John
 
I'm not an Intel d00d, so I don't know what stock voltage is (1.65v?), but I can answer one of your questions.

As your computer chugs along, the voltage regulator on the mainboard adjusts the voltage to the CPU depending on the load on it. That doesn't mean it can increase your voltage to make you stable at a higher clock. Under load, your voltage can drop or increase as you are stressing your system. When you idle, it's not so stressful, so the voltage might increase or drop, depending on many complicated things.

Some boards, like mine, tend to overvolt or undervolt the CPU compared to the setting you specify in the BIOS. Another explination could be that the program reading your voltage isn't accurate, as the method for detecting the voltage is to mesure the draw, and then run math on that to get the voltage.

I wouldn't worry about fluctuations too much, although it could be a sign that your powersupply is being stressed or is about to kick the bucket. Use MBM to monitor your 12v, 5v, and 3.3v rails. That will give you an indication about how the magic smoke in your PSU is doing, and if it's about to escape (lots of up and down == BAD, within +- 5% is good if you're on stock settings, within +- 10% for overclocked settings is good).
