Well with the rig in my sig ive been overclocking my 4200+ trying to push it higher. There is usually a -.02 to -.03v difference between what I set my cpu voltage and what bios reads it as. I am aware bios voltage readouts usually not accurate, but whenever I set it above 1.425v That difference goes to -.05. That same difference registers to ITE smartguardian. Now when I put full load onto both cores with orthros, I will see voltage fluctuations that I usually don't.
For instance, I have it set in bios to 1.45v, windows/bios read it as 1.4v, then when I put the load on the CPU it will fluctuate between 1.42v and 1.4v, and thats something new as far as my experience with this motherboard is concerned.
Also since I got this new psu, its been overvolting my memory, say Its set to 2.8, bios will read anywhere between 2.84 and 2.88, it usually would never go higher than 2.83.
Now I'm wondering, is this just standard fluctuation or is this a psu problem and its sagging under load.
I haven't had any random reboots @ stable clocks with these votlages, but I am wondering, maybe this is why this 4200+ got up to 2800mhz so easly with little extra voltage (I don't need to keep it at 1.45v) but anything over 2850 is instant fail on core 0.
