VMware: XP not installing

I've just starting using VMware 6.5, and I'm trying to install Windows XP Pro (32 bit) as a new VM. I'm currently using Vista Ultimate 64-bit.

The installation of XP Pro in the VM goes like this: I get the blue screen saying "Windows Setup" at the top and the little gray bar at the bottom showing all the basic drivers and such being unloaded by Windows in preparation for Windows XP. When all the drivers are unloaded, it says "Windows setting up..." and freezes there. What SHOULD happen is the XP Pro screen goes to "hit Enter to continue setup or F3 to exit setup" with the Windows terms and agreement. After that, the partition selection page would come up. But the setup is stuck right after unloading all those basic drivers.

I know there's nothing wrong with the XP Pro CD, because I tested it out on another PC from a restart, without VMware.

Can anyone help me out here?

You need to get the scsi driver FLP and hit F6 when it asks for additional drivers. Then connect the floppy image.
