Some of you are already familiar with the VMware Academic Program (VMAP).
The vSphere licensing will include vSphere Advanced (HA, vMotion, FT, Thin Provisioning, vSphere Zones, Data Protection) as well as vCenter Server. The previously encountered issue that the ESX 3.5 licenses couldn't be hooked into vCenter has been rectified and you will be able to connect multiple vSphere Advanced hosts into vCenter without any issues.
Product delivery will be handled via e-academy (like MSDN AA, etc.).
