So an acquaintance of mine mentioned vmturbo to me today and I was like "what's vmturbo?" while thinking of this:

Then I googled for it and apparently it's a real thing made by some dudes formally from IBM. Anyone using it, or at least test it out? Worth a look?

I keep getting cold calls from them, almost daily. Subbed as well to hear feedback if anyone has any.

They are damn expensive, $800 per cpu socket, and the free version sends them information about your environment.

That cost is waaaayyy to high i believe, but they tell me they can justify it.

I spend a little more time on their web page and the youtube channel and I think that there's a disconnect between the information materials and what prospective customers actually would want to know.

I looked at the video for their storage addon and after watching it I still don't really what it does and how it does it. It was basically a video on why I should buy it, rather than one that explains what it does. Disappointing.
