what is this exactly? ive never paid attention to this until i was reading the "Reconmened Upgrade" guide.
 
Video in video out.
A feature on ATI cards mostly that lets you output video to things like a TV AND bring video in from things like a TV to your computer.

The video you bring into your computer can be recorded with the correct software.
