Vista won't recognize hard drive

I just put together a new i7 system and have 2 WD6400AAKS drives that I intended to run as my C and E drives. Both drives show up in my BIOS but for some reason Vista only shows the C drive. The drives are configured to run in IDE; I don't have any sort or RAID setup enabled. Why would both drives show up in BIOS and just one in vista?

System specs:
Asus P6t MoBo
Core i7 920 processor
Xiggy S1283 HSF
6 GB GSkill DDR3 Ram
XFX GTX 285
2 WD6400AAKS drives

Thanks in advance for the help! I'm a little new so sorry if it's a dumb question!

Can you see the drive under diskmanagement? If its brand new, its probably not partitioned/formatted. The Vista install did that for your C: drive, now you just need to partition/format that drive.

Run diskmgmt.msc from your run box under the start menu (i forget what Vista calls it) and you can likely see the drive there, right click the drive, start chugging away at partition making.
