vista ultimate x64 30 second delay on right click

Title basically sums it up, but when I right click on a folder or shortcut, or anything for that matter in vista x64 the little "waiting circle" appears and "thinks" for a solid 30 seconds or so. I do not have anything CPU, GPU or RAM intensive running, actually other than a few firefox tabs nothing is running.

Does anybody know what causes this and how to fix it. Its not really a huge problem, just kind of an annoyance...
