So I just installed my shiney new Vista Beta 2 yesterday, but I have some problems cropping up already, mainly with audio. I simply can't get any to work.
First, I tried to install the drivers for my Audigy. DL, try to install...no good. Something about the file being corrupted or not present. So I download the driver again, and I get the same problem. Ok, so I'll abandon the Audigy and use the onboard.
So then I download the nVidia audio driver from their website...it gets the same error message, also after two downloads. So then I try to get it from Windows update. It's there, but the update "fails to install." What is up with my system? Oh, I also disabled the Audigy to try the onboard.
Specs:
Windows Vista Beta 2 x64 version
Athlon64 3200+
MSI K8N Neo Platinum (nForce 3 250)
gig-o-ram
Sound Blaster Audigy
ATI x800 XT
Drives, etc.
