Over the weekend I installed Vista SP1 RTM and did some general cleanup.
The system booted great and ran great sat and sun. Sun night I decided to do a boot time defrag with DiskKeeper Pro Premier 2007 overnight.
Monday morning I rebooted, and that was the last of that system. I'll save all the gory details, but even safe mode was dead.
Luckily I've been running a WHS system with backups every night. I used the Restore CD that comes with WHS and restored the entire drive as it was after the SP1 upgrade, but before DK 2007 was run.
The restore was completed perfectly and the system is back up and running.
I would be careful if you are running DK 2007 Pro Premier after installing SP1. I didn't have these issues prior to SP1.
