Vista product key question

Can I purchase a VIsta Ultimate product key without the software? I just need the key not the cd or software. Is that possible?

A quick check of PriceGrabber shows the license costing more than either an OEM or upgrade DVD with the license.

From my knowledge, all Vista disk have every edition on the disk. I have Home Basic upgrade and it shows Ultimate as an option.

When you instal the OS, it ask for your product key and it automatically chooses the right version to install based on the key you entered.

Damn...I'm better off just buying the silly cd then. I was thinking since I already have 1 license copy, I can save money by just buying a license alone without the media. I guess I was dead wrong in my thinking. Thanks
