Ok here is my problem i accidentally left my usb thumb drive while booting up and quickly removed it because vista wouldn't post then i get a ntldr error (i ran super grub and got everything running half way) after the reboot same error so i partitioned the drive and installed linux and repaired grub and now everything boots fine here is the kicker i have 2 sata drives one 500gb hdd and a sata dvd burner and a external 200 gb hdd(media files) for some reason vista is reading my sata drives as a usb device (safley remove icon on taskbar) but every time i try to boot the system with the external hdd connected my system automatically tries to boot from that hdd ( it never done that before) so i went into my bios to check whats going on the system boots my 500 gb hdd but doesnt list it as a boot option but if i have the usb hdd it list it to boot i tried to dissable it but it tries to boot cd ,network,or floppy instead of my 500 gb hdd that it was booting from before ? what is going on here !!

i have a old msi amd s939 athlon x2 3800+ with 6150 grahics this is the first issue i have had in years

note i tried repairing vista when i first got the ntldr error vista couldnt find a problem after the fix and said remove usb device

HELP!!!!
